Chapel on the Green would not be possible without the generous support of our volunteers! There are two ways to volunteer at Chapel on the Green: as a group, or as an individual.
Volunteer GroupsWe need Sunday sponsors! We need your help providing meals and optional care packages for around 100 guests (check with our Outreach Coordinator for the most recent estimate). To see available Sundays and to sign up, click here! How does it work? Join us on Sundays for a prayer service and a meal! Check out our Volunteer Guide for information on how you can help us care for people on the Green right now, and click the sign-up link on the right to volunteer. Volunteer groups sign up for a particular Sunday, and they prepare and serve the meal that we share following our worship service at 2pm. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive around 1:30pm and participate in our worship service; the meal wraps up around 3:00 or 3:15pm. Guest preachers and presiders from other churches are welcome! We are fortunate to have partnered with over 65 churches, synagogues, and non-profit organizations over the past ten years, and we are always looking for new partners. |
Individual Volunteers

How do I get involved? You might join our core group of volunteers who support our community by helping every week with set up, worship, and serving the meal. Most significantly, these core volunteers become an essential part of our community – they get to know people on an individual basis and provide a consistent presence of care and friendship.
